Pentalinon luteum is a shrubby vine native to the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Honduras, and south Florida. It grows in sandy soils in dry broadleaf and pine woodlands, coastal coppice (shrublands), dunes, and rocky shores. The leaves are opposite, ovate, and glossy. The bright yellow, funnel-shaped flowers are arranged in cymes. The seeds are wind dispersed.
